Do you want comments on your blog posts?
Some people want them, some people don’t want them.
At the beginning, when blogging was in its infancy, anyone who had a blog, they would search for comments. That’s how the blogging community grew and got to know each other. Then people starting commenting, not because they had anything of value to say, but because they wanted others to go to their websites and check out their blogs. Then came the spammers whos main objective was to spam other websites with dubious links that added no value to anyone.
Little by little, people started turning off their comments, and finally no too many people allow comments on their websites any more.
To set up your comments:
- go to the dashboard
- click on settings
- Choose the discussion option
