I create the website on WordPress.com to take advantage of the one GB free hosting.
I used the theme Zoologist, by Automatic, which is a theme for modern bloggers. It consists of a simple single column of posts, paired with a sophisticated color palette and beautiful sans-serif typography.
The website has a:

The whole website was created with Full Site Editing block theme.
There are no additional plugins other than those that come with they regular WordPress.com package.
This website is easy to replicate by anyone and I think it’s good fit for any knowledge based freelancer.
